THE CONCESSION STAND TAKEOVER!🏐🏐
The gym was packed, the popcorn was hot, and the Holy Gears were running the show. At the All Saints home volleyball game, our robotics team stepped up to fuel the crowd with candy, drinks, and snacks—nearly selling out by the end of the night.
🏐Game Day Hustle, holy gears stlye
From opening serve to the final point, our concession crew worked like a pit team on competition day. Students handled the cash box, restocked inventory, and kept fans smiling, proving that the same teamwork that drives our robot also drives a busy concession stand.
⚙️Who Are the Holy Gears?
We’re a middle school FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team from Alpena, Michigan. We design, build, code, and compete in the worldwide FTC program, showing what kids can accomplish when they’re given the tools and the trust. Every dollar from events like this goes back into STEM opportunities for our community.
🔥Fueling Up Together
This wasn’t just about snacks—it was about community. Volleyball players, families, and fans came together to support robotics while enjoying the game. Running concessions gave our students real-world skills in budgeting, inventory, and leadership, while raising funds for parts, tools, and travel for the 2025 season.
🤩The Season Ahead
With game reveal behind us and prototyping underway, the Holy Gears are fired up for the challenges ahead. Thank you for cheering us on—whether from the bleachers, the concession line, or the robotics pit. Your support keeps the gears turning all season long.
