HOW WE GEAR UP FOR

GREATNESS

  • Every great design starts with a dream.

In FTC, our students imagine new possibilities — a robot that can climb, launch, grab, or score in ways no one has tried before. This is where ideas are born, sketches hit the page, and creativity takes flight.

At Holy Gears, we encourage students to think big, ask “what if?”, and dream up solutions that push beyond what seems possible. Because before you can build it, you have to dream it.

You could even sprinkle in photos of brainstorming sessions, whiteboards full of sketches, or students presenting crazy “what if” ideas.

  • Ideas come to life in the workshop.

This is where students roll up their sleeves, learn new tools, and discover that building is about more than just nuts and bolts. It’s problem-solving, teamwork, and persistence.

From CAD design to cutting metal, wiring electronics, and coding movement — every student plays a part in turning a sketch into a functioning robot. Mistakes become lessons, and every adjustment brings us one step closer to competition-ready.

At Holy Gears, we don’t just build robots. We build confidence, skills, and a team spirit that carries far beyond the game field.

  • Once the robot is built, the real growth begins.

Students test, refine, and improve — learning that success isn’t instant, it’s earned through patience and perseverance. Every failed run is a chance to grow, every adjustment a step forward.

But growth isn’t just about the robot. It’s about students discovering leadership, communication, and resilience. They grow as teammates, as problem-solvers, and as young innovators preparing for the future.

At Holy Gears, “growing it” means shaping both the machine and the minds behind it.

  • Robotics is about more than just building a machine — it’s about inspiring others.

Through outreach, service, and teamwork, our students show what’s possible when creativity and dedication come together. They share their journey with younger students, local schools, and the community, proving that STEM can be fun, exciting, and life-changing.

At Holy Gears, we measure success not only by what our robot can do on the field, but by the spark we light in others. To inspire it is to carry the spirit of FIRST forward — and that’s the greatest victory of all.
