๐Ÿš€ HOLY GEARS 2025/26 SEASON RECAP

What a remarkable second season for the Holy Gears!

After an incredible rookie year, our students returned with bigger goals, higher expectations, and a determination to continue growing. What followed was a season filled with innovation, outreach, perseverance, and achievements that exceeded anything we imagined.

From local competitions to the international stage, the Holy Gears represented All Saints School, Alpena, and our community with professionalism, gracious professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to learning.

Along the way, the team earned an incredible list of accomplishments:

๐Ÿ† 1st Place REACH Award โ€“ Michigan FTC State Championship

๐Ÿ† 1st Place Innovate Award โ€“ Canadian Rockies Premier Event (48 teams from around the world)

๐Ÿ† Innovate Award Winner โ€“ Pellston Qualifier

๐Ÿฅˆ 2nd Place Inspire Award โ€“ Hartland Qualifier (State Championship Qualifier)

๐ŸŒŽ Invited to compete at the Canadian Rockies Premier Event

But the trophies tell only part of the story.

Throughout the season, Holy Gears continued expanding STEM opportunities throughout Northeast Michigan by mentoring younger students, hosting robotics camps and demonstrations, growing outreach efforts, strengthening sponsor relationships, and inspiring future engineers.

Our students learned that success isnโ€™t measured only by wins on the competition fieldโ€”it is built through leadership, service, teamwork, and perseverance.

This season also showcased tremendous technical growth. Every student contributed to designing, programming, building, testing, and continually improving our robot while developing the engineering and communication skills that make FIRST so unique.

Perhaps the greatest accomplishment of all was watching our students grow into confident leaders. Veteran members mentored newer teammates, everyone embraced challenges, and our team culture continued to reflect our guiding principle:

Give more than you take.

Competing against some of the best teams in Michiganโ€”and later against teams from across the worldโ€”proved that hard work, determination, and teamwork can accomplish extraordinary things.

As we close the 2025โ€“2026 season, we are filled with gratitude for our mentors, sponsors, parents, volunteers, alumni, and community supporters. Your belief in our students makes every opportunity possible.

The Holy Gears are no longer just building robots.

Weโ€™re building innovators. Weโ€™re building leaders. And weโ€™re just getting started. โš™๏ธโค๏ธ
