We’re Holy Gears FTC Team 20159, a middle school robotics team out of Alpena, Michigan.

We’re dreamers, builders, problem-solvers, and teammates who believe that learning should be hands-on, challenging, and fun.

More Than Just Robots

Yes, we design, build, and compete with robots — but what we’re really building is each other. Every meeting is a chance to grow in creativity, teamwork, leadership, and resilience. The skills we learn here go far beyond the game field.

Why Holy Gears?

We started as a small group who saw a need for STEM opportunities at our school. In just a few short years, we’ve built a team that competes at the state level, earns awards, and inspires younger students to join the world of robotics.

FUN FACT- We are the only FTC team in NorthEast Michigan, There are no teams within 90 mile of Alpena, Michigan
