Holy Gears Takes First Place Innovate at the Canadian Rockies Premier Event!🥇⚙️

This summer, the Holy Gears traveled to the Canadian Rockies FTC Rookie Mountain Premier Event in Edmonton, Alberta, where we competed alongside 48 incredible FIRST Tech Challenge teams.

After an exciting weekend of competition, presentations, problem-solving, and meeting teams from all over, Holy Gears was honored to receive the 1st Place Innovate Award!

The Innovate Award celebrates a team’s ingenuity, creativity, and ability to turn great ideas into a thoughtfully designed robot. Our students worked hard to explain the design choices behind our robot, how we tested and improved our ideas, and the many hours of collaboration that go into every competition season.

We are so proud of this group for representing Alpena, All Saints, and our community with hard work, kindness, and the Holy Gears spirit. As always, our motto is: Give more than we take.
