Holy Gears Earn Innovate Award at the Pellston Qualifier

The Holy Gears had an exciting weekend at the FIRST Tech Challenge Pellston Qualifier, where our team proudly earned the Innovate Award!

The Innovate Award recognizes a team that demonstrates creativity, engineering excellence, and innovative thinking in the design of their robot. Judges look for unique solutions to challenging game objectives and a team that can clearly explain the engineering process behind their design.

Throughout the season, our students spent countless hours brainstorming, designing, testing, and improving every aspect of our robot. Every challenge became an opportunity to learn, and every setback pushed us to create even better solutions.

In addition to receiving the Innovate Award, Holy Gears finished 4th in the qualification rankings and advanced to the playoff rounds, competing alongside some of Michigan’s top FTC teams.

What makes this achievement especially meaningful is that our students designed, built, programmed, and refined the robot through teamwork, perseverance, and a willingness to keep improving.
